The Environment Protection Department, Punjab created the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to take charge of protecting, conserving, rehabilitating, and improving the environment.
EPA is responsible for the prevention and control of pollution, and for promoting sustainable development across the province.
It continues to build on its successes through effective environmental legislation and delivering high-quality services to the public.
